London Bin Rentals will dispose of most non-hazardous materials such as construction debris, demolition, or renovation debris, yard trimmings, green waste, household junk, appliances, furniture, scrap metal, sod, rocks, gravel, cement, and any odds and ends.

There are some materials that we cannot take. These include but are not limited to hazardous materials such as chemicals, gasoline, oils, solvents, car batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, paint or paint cans, household waste, such as diapers and chicken bones or any type of toxic or biological waste.

We also do NOT take freon based appliances which include air conditioning units – freezers – coolers – refrigerators

Any civic or environmental charges on such materials are the sole responsibility of the client; therefore we recommend that you safeguard your bin and monitor the contents accordingly.

Our trucks have the capacity to carry 5 to 16 yards of material.

Bins are not to be filled past wall heights. If it is filled too high it will not be picked up and an extra fee will be charged for a second attempt.

No. Any damage that is not normal wear and tear will be the responsibility of the client. For a reasonable fee, we will move the bin if it is required.

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. We can often supply a bin on the same day that you call, or on the following day. We will also hold a bin for you for a specific date within a reasonable time frame.

Our prices depend on the size of the bin you require; the type of materials you fill the bin with; and the volume and weight of your material. We charge a one ton minimum and in quarter-ton increments thereafter.

We pride ourselves on customer service and will do our best to accommodate you. Our standard rental period is 7 days.

  • 1 short (or net) ton = 2000 pounds (US)
  • 1 tonne (i.e. a metric ton) = 2204.6 pounds
  • 12 cubic yard bin – (max. 4,536 kilos)
  • 6 cubic yard bin – (max. 4,536 kilos)
  • 36 average wheelbarrows filled level = a 6 cubic yard bin
  • 6 loads from a small pickup truck filled level = a 6 cubic yard bin
  • A typical 12 yard load of mixed household waste usually weighs about 1-2 tonnes
  • Dirt weighs about 1 tonne per cubic yard
  • Shingles weigh about 1 tonne per 30 bundles (don’t forget to double if you are removing 2 layers)
  • A 12 yard load of mixed construction materials commonly weighs 1-3 tonnes
  • A 6 yard bin filled with concrete blocks generally weighs about 3-4 tonnes
